razorpay’s compliance check wasn’t exactly instant, but it’s fine, totally fine. I had to upload a few documents again, which was a little annoying, but support got back to me after a while and the verification was completed. Overall, it was smooth enough in the end, you just need to stay calm and have a bit of patience

"Works fine, but watch the extra charges"
The product worked fine overall and did what I needed it to do. The only annoying part was noticing some extra charges later when I checked my email receipts. It would’ve been better if those costs were made clearer upfront.
"Refund came through, but the wait was frustrating"
I had a refund issue with Razorpay it wasn’t a smooth experience. The payment showed as failed, but the money still got deducted, so in my head I just assumed it would bounce back quickly like these things usually do. But it took several days, and that waiting period was stressful. Support did reply, but the responses were slow and not very clear, so I kept checking my account and messages again and again. I did finally get the refund, but the lack of proper updates in between made the whole thing feel more annoying than it needed to be.

So far it’s been stable for us. Uptime has been solid, the dashboard loads without any fuss, and payments hardly ever get stuck.

It works fine for the most part, but some of the settings are harder to find than I expected. Maybe I was just trying to set it up at the worst possible moment, but it definitely took longer than it should have.

"Payments work fine, but reports can be a headache"
I’ve been using Razorpay for payments the payment part is mostly okay. The issue starts when it comes to reporting and reconciliation. Some settlements don’t line up clearly, and I often end up downloading multiple reports just to understand basic details. It takes way more time than it should, especially for a small team. Support does respond, but the answers aren’t always clear enough to actually solve things quickly. A friend recommended Razorpay to me, and while it’s not bad overall, I do wish the reporting side was much simpler.

I’ve been using razorpay for customer payments and it covers almost everything people ask for — UPI, cards, netbanking, wallets, all that. The setup wasn’t too bad either, took a little poking around but nothing crazy. Sometimes one of the bank options feels slow, which is annoying when a customer is waiting, but then again most of the time it just works and I don’t have to think about it. For daily payments, it’s been reliable.

"Onboarding Took Longer Than Expected"
At first, the onboarding process seemed straightforward, but the KYC part kept getting stuck and turned into a bit of a hassle. I reached out to support, but the replies were slow and not always very clear, so it took much longer than I expected to get things sorted. Overall, it left me feeling frustrated and not very confident in the experience.

"Works for cards, but the wording can be misleading"
Razorpay is fine for card payments most of the time, and the transaction usually goes through without much trouble. But every now and then it gets stuck or shows as failed even when everything seems okay from the bank’s side. What’s annoying is the wording on some of the messages, it makes it sound like the issue is definitely with your card or bank, when that’s not always the case. Support is just average too. Overall, it’s not terrible, but I really wish it was more reliable and clearer about what’s actually happening.

Razorpay handled my payments smoothly overall, so I can’t really complain about the core service. That said, my account was put on hold at one point, it was stressful because when people’s money is involved, clear communication really matters. Support did respond and the issue was eventually sorted out, but it took longer than I expected. I’m giving 4 stars because it worked out in the end, but I do think the freeze/hold process should be explained more clearly and handled in a way that feels fairer to users.

I used the Razorpay docs to set up payments, it was smooth. The examples were clear enough, and I didn’t have to dig around too much to find the API details I needed. It feels developer-friendly overall. Since I spent time going through it and sharing my feedback, I’m hoping there’s some kind of compensation or appreciation for it

UPI does work most of the time, so that’s good. But there are occasional delays that can get annoying, especially when you’re trying to make a quick payment. It’s not a huge issue every time, but it would be nice if it was a bit more consistent

We've been using Razorpay for payments, and the webhooks have been mostly reliable for us... There were a couple of delays during busy hours, but nothing serious. Setup was fairly smooth too. Overall, I'm happy with it... just wish the retry logs were a bit easier to read.

I mostly use Razorpay for payouts, it’s been decent overall. Most of the payments go through on time, so I don’t really have major complaints there. But I still remember one time when a payout got delayed and I kept refreshing the status because I needed that money settled urgently. That kind of uncertainty can be really stressful. Support did reply, but when you’re waiting on funds, even a small delay in response feels much longer. For regular day-to-day use, it works well enough. I just wish they were more transparent during delays and gave clearer updates instead of leaving you guessing.

Payments go through most of the time, so overall it’s been okay for me. There are a few times when they fail, which can be a bit annoying, but mostly they work, mostly it’s fine.

"Decent effort, but not fully resolved"
I have mixed feelings about the support experience. They did eventually get back to me and seemed like they were trying to help, but it took quite a while, and the issue still wasn’t fixed properly in the end. I appreciate the effort, but I was hoping for a faster and more complete solution.
"Dispute support made me wait way too long"
I had a payment dispute come up and the whole thing was slower and more confusing than it needed to be. I kept having to follow up, and most of the replies felt like copy-paste responses that didn’t really answer what I was asking. It did finally get looked at, but I felt like I was being forced to just sit there and be patient with no real updates. Not great if you actually need help quickly.

We added the Razorpay API to our site and it does what it’s supposed to do, payments are going through smoothly now, but the setup took longer than I expected because a few parts of the docs felt a bit unclear, especially the webhook setup and figuring out what was happening in test mode.
Support did reply, just not super quickly, so we had to spend some extra time working things out ourselves, and while I’d still say the API works fine overall, I’m giving it 3 stars because the integration process could be a lot simpler and more beginner-friendly for small teams.
